Dear Mr. President:

I am an Iranian born American citizen enjoying the rewards of democracy and personal freedom of my adopted country.  Having immigrated in my twenties, I am culturally and emotionally tied to my native land.  I am deeply saddened by the inconceivable atrocities the tyrannical government of Iran commits in the name of administrative policies.  I am further perplexed by resolute silence of the democratic world body on gross violations of human rights by the clerical regime of Iran.  In my desperation of wanting to help my native compatriots, I ecstatically hear your voice of support for the Iranian people.

You, my honorable president, on the occasion of the State of the Union address of the year 2006, explicitly and determinedly stated that Iran is held hostage by a small clerical elite that is isolating and repressing its people.  You said that this must come to an end.  You addressed the citizens of Iran directly with the inspiring and compassionate words;  “America respects you, and we respect your country.  We respect your right to choose your own future and win your own freedom.  And our nation hopes one day to be the closest of friends with a free and democratic Iran”.

As an Iranian American, I am elated to see my president, the leader of the most powerful democracy in the world, voice his support for the people of my native land in their pursuit of democracy.  Mr. President, despite my differences of opinion with some of your policies, it has been my desire, and, I have finally made it my duty to rise on behalf of like minded Iranian Americans and Iranian citizens and loudly and proudly say: Thank You Mr. President, we appreciate your stand on democracy in Iran.

As a common man and practitioner of democracy, I request your permission to address you frankly and directly.  Mr. President, astonishingly, I find a lack of resonance amongst my compatriots of Iranian background on your strong and positive words of support.  The shared reaction is that your talk lacks substance.  This is not to disrespect your intentions or refuse your goodwill.  It is merely a reaction caused by the consequences of past events.  Your words are shadowed by memories of the deceptive policies of President Carter’s administration on Iran.  Those policies have contributed to death of hundreds of thousands of Iranians and to the decay of social, fiscal, and political infrastructure in Iran.  In 1977, on a New Year's Eve visit to Tehran, President Carter toasted Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlavi as "an island of stability" amid the turmoil of the region, while his administration was plotting to undermine the stability of that same Shah!

Mr. President, documents after documents are publicly available showing that the so- called revolution of 1979 in Iran was instigated by the plots of outside forces, visibly evident amongst them, the United States of America.  Today, the people of Iran are ready for a change of government as they were in 1979.  Today, as was done in 1979, the change needs to be initiated from outside as all avenues for reform are closed within.  Today however, a major change exists in the makeup of the outside forces.  Millions of forced-out Iranians are scattered across the globe with a vast number living in the United States.  These Iranians have a passionate desire for a free and democratic Iran.  These passions and desires are the essence of the outside forces, augmenting the dream of the people inside Iran for the change.  Need for yesterday’s plots are no more, as today the elites of the Iranian migrant crowd offer globally thoughtful, albeit somewhat naive and emotional, plans for a free and democratic Iran.

America has done Iran wrong in the past.  In 1953, America aided the overthrow of the democratically elected Prime Minister and secured dictatorial rule of the Shah.  In 1979, America aided the overthrow of that Shah and secured the rule of a murderous, dictatorial, and clerical regime.

Mr. President, today, you have an opportunity to redeem America’s oversights in Iran by substantiating your words of support for the Iranian people.  The substance in our analysis, is constructive financial assistance, and mutually agreed upon clarification and understanding of the protocols of the New World Order.  The question then becomes to whom the finance is to be granted and with whom the understanding of the Fair Share doctrine of coexistence should be drawn. 

As a researcher and as a Texan -naturalized in San Antonio- I feel confident to advise my President, a Texan himself, that the freedom of the Iranian people will be won by genuine patriots of Iran, irrelevant of their current citizenship affiliations.  These patriots are not in service of foreign governments for the undermining of Iran.  They do not have ties with the Freemasonry groups, or anti-Iran agendas of secret and open societies.  And most importantly, they are not cronies of political Judaism, Christianity, Islamism, or any other religion for that matter.  For sometime, a new breed of political elite, independent and non corrupt, passionately nationalistic, scrupulous believers of wise and balanced globalization, stanch proponent of rights and dignity for all, and with keen eyes towards America and its governmental system have been brewing amongst the Iranians everywhere.

Mr. President, you said that America hopes one day to be the closest of friends with a free and democratic Iran.  I seek your permission to advise you that the two nations of Iran and America have inseparable local, regional, and global interests of social, economic, and political nature. With the right decisions of America, your hope of friendship is certain.

Please allow me to advise you that Iran has ten thousand years history of habitation, and nearly three thousand years of governmental systems. Iran is the only genuine and locally transpired country in the Great Middle East scheme. Iran is a cultural superpower with scopes hundreds and even thousands of miles beyond its current geographical borders.  As an example; Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, the three dominant religions of the world, are either influenced or deeply impregnated by the culture, civilization, and religions of ancient Iran.  The Bahai belief, a fairly recent progressive religion with followers around the world, is completely of Iranian origin and nature.

The cultural affluence and influence of Iran founded on the pillars of good will, good discourse, and good deed is not to be feared or envied.  There shall not be a need for confrontation or plots for preemptive annihilation.  The supremacy of Iran in culture is not a liability for the world.  It is rather an asset that all nations, especially those of the region, can benefit from in the context of the New World Order.  The free and democratic Iran will facilitate the reach of the Iranian culture to all seekers of goodness. 

Iran is an economic might with or without oil.  The economic strength of Iran is not solely in its natural resources but in its people of varied ethnicities and abilities.  A testament to these abilities is over 20 Iranian satellite television stations and nearly 800 billion dollars accrued assets by the migrant Iranians in America alone.  The free and democratic Iran will position Iran’s economic power to reward its citizens with basic necessities of a modern society, at the least.  In a free and democratic Iran quality life-sustaining health insurance will be free and accessible to all.  There shall not ever be a need to prostitute one’s body, sell one’s organs, or rob another’s possessions to pay for one’s father, mother, or child’s medical expenses.

The free and democratic Iran will seek and welcomes trade with all nations, but will not allow the plundering of Iran’s natural resources, will not condone organized criminal activities for amassment of wealth, will not submit to exploitive demands of the World Trade Organization, International Monitory Fund, World Bank, Privatization schemes, or any other domineering fiscal strategies.  The free and democratic Iran salutes and embraces capitalism and free market economic infrastructures, but shall not succumb to sacrificing the labor rights, dignity, and fair compensation for the sake of market demands.

Many nations, among them Israel and a number of European communities, are deprived of adequate natural resources or economic productivities to provide for their citizens.  America considers the strength of the Dollar against other currencies, the Euro in particular, a pillar of its national security.  The free and democratic Iran, bountiful in natural resources and a prime trade partner, while maintaining its independence in managing its affairs, does recognize its role in the stability of the global world.  The free and democratic Iran offers access to its resources and seeks the same, on the basis of the Fair Share doctrine.   The free and democratic Iran, in view of its cultural, geopolitical, and economic prodigious capacities, seeks its historical and rightful role in world affairs by requesting a permanent seat in the United Nations Security Council.

Colonialism is an expired global policy.  Today, world population does not endure the installation of rulers and governments via fake elections, referendums, revolutions, or direct military invasions.  Enslaving humans in any form and with any intention is immoral, illegal, and intolerable.  The age old notion of one tribe being the chosen people to rule the world is a fallacy. The doctrine of resurrecting the Roman Empire is barren.  The free and democratic Iran with its Security Council seat, advocates peace, justice, rights of existence, dignified living, and balanced relations amongst nations.  The free and democratic Iran will deprecate militarization and war as a mean of resolving difficulties amongst nations.

Mr. President, conciliation with the tyrannical regime in Iran, invading, attacking, or bombing Iran, does not constitute right decisions for friendship with the free and democratic Iran.  Friendship with a free and democratic Iran may seem challenging.  I attest that it may be so, but it will be essential for the betterment of the world on its path towards globalization.

It took America a deadly and costly Civil War to dismantle slavery.  An American President, however, took that challenge for the sake of a better America and ultimately a better world.  It took a deadly and costly campaign to bring the Second World War to an end.  An American President, however, took that challenge for the security of the world.  At high costs to America, you have taken the challenge of subduing world terrorism.  Let us take the non-lethal and low-cost quest of becoming friends with a free and democratic Iran, no matter how challenging it may seem.

Mr. President, hope is a vital purpose in life.  Your supportive words inspire hope.  Offer substantive assistance to apt seekers, so we can make the hope a reality, so we can make Iran free and democratic.  In honor of your daring initiative, an annual international George Walker Bush Hope Award will be established in the free and democratic Iran to recognize those who instigate hope for a better world and cause its realization.

History teaches about persons that have shaped the world for better or worse.  We cannot deny ills in history but can engrave it with our good deed.  Martin Luther King elaborately delivered his famous “I have a dream” speech in quest of a better America.  America fulfilled the dream, eventually, and today America is a better place for all of us.  Let us fulfill America’s hope of a close friendship with a free and democratic Iran and let us together, Iran and America, make the world a better place for all of its habitants.

Mr. President, the making of history for the good of the people is before us.  Let us be what Texans are known for, the Mavericks.  Let us remember the Alamo and do the right things.

جناب آقای رییس جمهور:

فردی هستم متولد ایران و دارای تابعیت ایالات متحده امریکا که از لذت دمکراسی و آزادی فردی در کشور دوم خود بهره ور میباشم.  از آنجا که در سنین بیست سالگی به امریکا مهاجرت کرده ام، از نظر فرهنگی و احساسی رابطه تنگاتنگ با موطن اصلی خود دارم.  جنایات غیرقابل تصوری که دولت ستمگر حاکم بر ایران بنام قوانین مملکتی بر مردم ایران روا میدارد، مرا بسیار اندوهگین میسازد.  مضافا، سکوت عامدانه دنیای دمکراتیک در برابر نقض فاحش حقوق بشر توسط رژیم مذهبی ایران حیرانم میکند.  در سرگشتگی خود برای کمک به هموطنانم، با نهایت خوشوقتی ندای پشتیبانی شما را از ملت ایران میشنوم.

رییس جمهور محترم من، جنابعالی در گزارش سالانه وضعیت کشور در ژانویه 2006 آشکارا و قاطعانه بیان فرمودید که ایران توسط یک گروه کوچک از نخبگان مذهبی به گروگان گرفته شده است.  گروهی که مردم را با سرکوب به انزوا کشانیده است.  فرمودید که این وضعیت باید به پایان برسد.  شما ملت ایران را با کلمات الهام بخش و مهربانانه خود مستقیما مورد خطاب قرار دادید و بیان کردید که: "امریکا به شما و کشور شما احترام میگذارد.  ما به حق شما برای دستیابی به آزادی و انتخاب آینده خود احترام میگذاریم.  و ملت ما امیدوار هست که روزی از نزدیکترین دوستان یک ایران آزاد و دمکراتیک باشد."

بعنوان یک ایرانی امریکایی بسیار سرافرازم که ببینم رییس جمهور من، رهبر قدرتمندترین کشور دمکراتیک جهان، حمایت خود را از تلاشهای مردم موطن اصلی ام در راه دستیابی به دمکراسی بیان میکند.  آقای رییس جمهور، علیرغم اختلافاتی که با بعضی از مواضع شما دارم این خواسته من بوده است و سرانجام آنرا وظیفه خود دانسته ام که بپا خیزم و از طرف ایرانی امریکایی ها و ایرانی های همفکر خودم با غرور و با صدای رسا بگویم که آقای رییس جمهور از شما متشکر هستیم.  ما از موضع شما در پشتیبانی از تلاش برای دستیابی به دمکراسی در ایران تقدیر میکنیم.

بعنوان یک فرد عادی اجتماع و باورمند به دمکراسی از شما اجازه میخواهم که با شما صریح و سر اصل موضوع سخن بگویم.  آقای رییس جمهور، با شگفتی دریافته ام که سخنان وزین و یقین شما در باب حمایت از ایرانیان اثر مطلوب بر هموطنان ایرانی من نداشته است.  عکس العمل مشترک آنها اینست که سخنان شما جامه عمل ندارند.  این برخورد، بی احترامی به مقصود شما و یا رد احسان شما نیست بلکه نتیجه تجربه های تلخ وقایع اخیر ایرانیان میباشد.  خاطره تصمیمات پر از نیرنگ دولت آقای کارتر در مورد ایران، سخنان شما را در سایه ای از ابهام جلوه میدهد.  برنامه ریزی های دولت ایشان منجر به کشتار صدها هزار ایرانی و زوال ساختار اجتماعی، اقتصادی، و سیاسی ایران شده اند.  در میهمانی شب سال نو 1977 در تهران، آقای کارتر جام شراب خود را به سلامتی محمد رضا شاه بالا بردند و پادشاهی ایران را یک جزیره ثبات در منطقه ای پر آشفته تشبیه نمودند در حالیکه دولت ایشان برای بزیر آوردن همان پادشاهی دسیسه میکرد!

آقای رییس جمهور، مدارک بسیاری در دسترس عمومی هستند که نشان میدهند انقلاب کذایی سال 1979 در ایران با دسیسه های عوامل خارجی، بالاخص ایالات متحده امریکا، به حرکت درآمد.  امروز، همانند سال 1979 مردم ایران خواستار تغییر حکومت هستند.  امروز، همانطور که در سال 1979 اجرا شد تغییر حکومت نیاز به ابتکار و حرکت از خارج دارد زیرا هرگونه فرصت برای اصلاحات در درون مسدود شده است.  اما امروز یک تفاوت عمده در ساختار نیروهای خارجی پدید آمده است.  ملیونها ایرانی رانده شده از وطن در اقصی نقاط گیتی پراکنده شده اند.  شمار بسیاری در امریکا زندگی میکنند.  آرزوی قلبی اینها یک ایران آزاد و دمکراتیک است.  احساسات و امیال این ایرانیان، نیروی خارجی برای اجرایی کردن خواسته مردم داخل ایران یعنی تغییر حکومت میباشد.  دیگر مانند گذشته نیازی به دسیسه گری دولتهای خارجی نیست زیرا امروز نخبگان جامعه مهاجر ایرانی برنامه های متفکرانه ای که شاید کمی هم احساسی و ساده اندیشی باشند، همگام با قوانین جهانی در راه دستیابی به یک ایران آزاد پیشنهاد میکنند.

امریکا در حق ایران بدی کرده است.  در سال 1953، امریکا در سرنگونی نخست وزیر منتخب مردم و برقراری حکومت دیکتاتوری شاه سهیم بوده است.  در سال 1979، امریکا در سرنگونی همان شاه و برقراری حکومت استبدادی و آدمکش آخوندی دست داشته است.

آقای رییس جمهور، امروز شما میتوانید با ماهیت بخشیدن به سخنان خود در پشتیبانی از مردم ایران، اشتباهات امریکا در ایران را جبران کنید.  در تحلیل ما، این ماهیت کمک مالی سودمند همراه با تفهیم و درک متقابل مفاد نظم نوین جهانی میباشد.  در اینصورت، شاید پرسش شود که کمک مالی به چه کسی داده شود و درک گراپندار همزیستی با مسالمت با چه کسی به تفاهم برسد.

در مسئولیت یک پژوهشگر، و از آنجا که در شهر سن آنتونیو به تابعیت امریکا در آمدم و تکزاسی هستم، وظیفه خود میدانم که رییس جمهور تکزاسی خود را رایزنی کنم که آزادی ملت ایران با تلاش میهن پرستان راستین ایران فراهم خواهد شد.  این میهن پرستان شاید تابعیت کشورهای متفاوتی را داشته باشند ولی با هدف تخریب ایران در خدمت هیچ دولت بیگانه ای نیستند. اینها همبستگی با گروههای فراماسونری و یا عضویت در انجمن های آشکار و مخفی با اهداف ضد ایرانی را ندارند.  و از همه مهمتر، اینها پادو های یهود سیاسی، مسیحیت سیاسی، اسلام سیاسی، و یا هر مذهب دیگری نیستند.  مدت زمانیست که در میان ایرانیان، هر کجا که هستند، یک نسل جدید از نخبگان سیاسی، مستقل و فاسد نشده، عاشقانه ملی گرا، باورمند محتاط به جهانی سازی معقول و متوازن، حامی ثابت قدم حقوق و شان انسانی برای همه، و با گرایش مشتاق بسوی امریکا و نوع حکومت امریکا در حال تکمیل میباشد.

آقای رییس جمهور، شما فرمودید که امریکا امید دارد روزی از نزدیکترین دوستان ایران آزاد و دمکراتیک باشد.  از شما اجازه رایزنی میخواهم و به آگاهی میرسانم که دو ملت ایران و امریکا منافع تفکیک ناپذیر اجتماعی، اقتصادی، و سیاسی در مسایل داخلی، منطقه ای، و جهانی دارند.  با اخذ تصمیمات بجای امریکا، انتظار شما برای دوستی قطعیست.

خواهشمند است اجازه بفرمایید به آگاهی برسانم که ایران دارای ده هزار سال تاریخ سکونت و تقریبا سه هزار سال سابقه دولتی میباشد.  در تمهید خاورمیانه بزرگ، ایران تنها کشور به معنای واقعی کلمه میباشد که در خود منطقه پدید آمده است.  ایران یک ابر قدرت فرهنگی با قلمرویی صدها و بلکه هزارها کیلومتر فراتر از مرزهای جغرافیایی کنونی خود میباشد.  برای مثال؛ یهودیت، مسیحیت، و اسلام که سه مذهب فراگیر جهانی هستند متاثر و یا عمیقا بارور از فرهنگ، تمدن، و مذاهب ایران باستان میباشند.  سرچشمه و گوهر وجود مذهب تازه تاسیس و مترقی بهایی که در اقصی نقاط گیتی پیرو دارد از ایران میباشد.

نفوذ و پرمایگی فرهنگ ایران که بر بنیان پندار نیک، گفتار نیک، و کردار نیک استوار است نباید مایه بیم یا رشک باشد.  هیچ نیازی به مواجهه و یا دسیسه برای نابودی پیشگیرانه توسعه این فرهنگ نیست.  در چهارچوب نظم نوین جهانی، فرهنگ ابر قدرت ایران نه تنها مایه نگرانی برای دنیا نمیباشد بلکه سرچشمه ایست که تمام ملتهای جهان، مخصوصا ملتهای منطقه، از آن بهره ور خواهند بود.  ایران آزاد و دمکراتیک، تسهیلات لازم را برای نشر فرهنگ ایران به جویندگان نیکی فراهم خواهد کرد.

ایران چه نفت داشته باشد و چه نداشته باشد یک قدرت اقتصادی است.  توانایی اقتصادی ایران تنها منحصر به منابع طبیعی آن نمیباشد بلکه قابلیتهای انسانی اقوام گوناگون ایران هم از ارکان قدرت اقتصادی هستند.  وجود متجاوز از 20 کانال تلویزیونی ماهواره ای و حدود 800 میلیارد دلار سرمایه انباشته ایرانی فقط در امریکا، صحتی بر توانایی انسانی ایرانی میباشد.  ایران آزاد و دمکراتیک، قدرت اقتصادی ایران را در مسیر بهره وری شهروندانش از نیازمندیهای پایه ای یک جامعه مدرن به کار میگیرد.  در ایران آزاد و دمکراتیک، بیمه درمانی مناسب و ضامن سلامت حداقل شهروندان، بطور رایگان در دسترس عموم خواهد بود.  دیگر هرگز نیاز به خود فروشی، فروش اجزای بدن، و یا دزدی، به منظور پرداخت هزینه درمانی پدر، مادر، و یا فرزند نخواهد بود.

ایران آزاد و دمکراتیک، تمایل تجارت متقابل با تمام ملتها را خواهد داشت اما اجازه چپاول منابع طبیعی ایران را نخواهد داد.  در مقابل فعالیتهای سازمان یافته تبهکارانه برای انباشت ثروت چشم پوشی نخواهد کرد.  تسلیم مطالبات استثمارانه سازمان تجارت جهانی، صندوق بین المللی پول، بانک جهانی، تمهیدات خصوصی سازی، و یا هر گونه تدبیر اقتصادی مستبدانه دیگر نخواهد شد.  ایران آزاد و دمکراتیک، سرمایه گرایی و ساختار اقتصاد بازار آزاد را تهنیت میگوید و با آغوش باز پذیرا خواهد بود اما حقوق اجتماعی، شان انسانی، و مزد عادلانه کارگر را فدای مطالبات سرمایه داری نخواهد کرد.

ملتهای بسیاری، از جمله اسراییل و تعدادی از کشورهای اروپایی از منابع طبیعی یا تولیدات اقتصادی کافی برای تامین شهروندانشان بی بهره هستند.  امریکا قدرت دلار در مقابل پولهای دیگر، مخصوصا یورو، را یک مسئله امنیت ملی میداند.  ایران آزاد و دمکراتیک با حفظ استقلال خود در اداره مملکت و با آگاهی به ثروتش در منابع طبیعی و تمایل دیگران برای تجارت با او، آماده اجرای نقش خود برای استواری دنیای جهانی شده خواهد بود.  ایران آزاد و دمکراتیک بر اساس گراپندار سهمیت با مسالمت منابع خود را برای بهره وری سایرین عرضه خواهد داشت و دسترسی متقابل را درخواست خواهد کرد.  ایران آزاد و دمکراتیک با عطف به استعداد شگرف فرهنگی، اقتصادی، و موقعیت ژئوپلتیک خود جایگاه تاریخی و مشروع خود در مسایل جهانی را با درخواست عضویت دائمی در شورای امنیت سازمان ملل طلب میکند.

استعمارگری در سیاست جهان امروز باطل است.  امروز، شهروندان کشور ها انتصاب حکومتها و دولتها را از راه انتخابات دستکاری شده ، همه پرسی جعلی، انقلاب ساختگی، و یا تهاجم مستقیم نظامی تحمل نمیکنند.  اسارت و بردگی انسانها در هر شکل و با هر هدف، غیر اخلاقی، غیر قانونی، و تحمل ناپذیر است.  نظریه کهنۀ برتری یک قوم برگزیده و سروری او بر جهان، خیالی دروغین است.  عقیده احیای امپراتوری رومی بی حاصل است.  ایران آزاد و دمکراتیک با مسئولیت عضویت دائمی در شورای امنیت، از صلح، عدالت، حق زیست، زندگانی با وقار، و روابط متعادل ملتها حمایت میکند.  ایران آزاد و دمکراتیک، نظامی سازی و جنگ را برای رفع اختلافات چاره ای ناپسند میداند.

آقای رییس جمهور، مصالحه با حکومت ستمگر ایران، تهاجم، حمله، یا بمباران ایران تصمیمات درست برای دوستی با ایران آزاد و دمکراتیک نمیباشند.  شاید دوستی با یک ایران آزاد و دمکراتیک دشوار بنظر برسد.  من تصدیق میکنم که این دوستی آسان نیست ولی غلبه بر این دشواری و برقراری این دوستی برای بهبود دنیا در مسیر خود بسوی جهانی شدن لازم است.

برای از ریشه کن کردن بردگی، امریکا دچار یک جنگ داخلی مرگبار و پرهزینه شد.  رییس جمهور وقت، برای یک امریکای بهتر و در نهایت یک دنیای بهتر این دشواری را پذیرفت.  برای پایان جنگ جهانی دوم یک لشکرکشی خونبار و پرهزینه لازم شد ولی رییس جمهور وقت امریکا برای تضمین امنیت جهان این دشواری را پذیرفت.  با تحمل هزینه گزاف جانی و مالی، خود شما دشواری منکوب کردن تروریسم جهانی را پذیرفته اید.  بیایید دشواری کم هزینه و بی کشتار دوستی با یک ایران آزاد و دمکراتیک را هم بپذیریم.

آقای رییس جمهور، امید، یک عزم واجب در زندگیست.  کلام پشتیبانی شما از ایرانیان امید را تراوش میدهد.  بیایید کمک سودمند و سازنده خود را به جویندگان شایسته اهدا کنید تا ما بتوانیم این امید را به حقیقت برسانیم، تا ما بتوانیم ایران را آزاد و دمکراتیک بسازیم.  برای سپاس از ابتکار و کمک جسورانه شما، در ایران آزاد و دمکراتیک جایزه سالانه و بین المللی جرج والکر بوش برای امید برقرار خواهد شد.  این جایزه به آنهایی که امید را برای یک دنیای بهتر میپرورانند و بانی به حقیقت پیوستن آن میشوند اهدا خواهد شد.

ما از تاریخ، سرگذشت افرادی را که با اعمال نیک یا زشت خود بر دنیا اثر گذاشته اند درس میگیریم.  ما زشتیهای تاریخ را نمیتوانیم انکار کنیم ولی میتوانیم عامل نیکی در آن باشیم. تلاش برای یک امریکای بهتر در سخنرانی معروف "من یک رویا دارم" مارتین لوتر کینگ  استادانه مشهود است.  امریکا سرانجام آن رویا را حقیقت بخشید و بخاطر آن امروز، آمریکا سرزمینی بهتر برای همه ما میباشد.  بیایید ما هم امید امریکا برای یک دوستی نزدیک با یک ایران آزاد و دمکراتیک را جامه عمل بپوشانیم.  بیایید با هم، ایران و امریکا، دنیا را مکانی بهتر برای تمام ساکنینش بسازیم.

آقای رییس جمهور، فرصت تاریخسازی برای نیکبختی انسانها پیش روی ماست.  بیایید آنچه را که تکزاسیها بدان معروف هستند، یعنی شجاعت، جسارت، و استقلال عمل، پیشه خود کنیم.  بیایید واقعه قلعه آلامو را بیاد بیاوریم و آنچه را که بجاست عمل کنیم.
